Training

As with most things in life, knowledge and practice give a better result. In order for the absolute best possible result to be achieved, the entire process needs to be error-free. The farmer does his utmost to grow high-quality beans, and the roaster processes the beans and then passes the finished product on to the final sellers who strive to find the ultimate coffee variety for your taste, and learn how to brew it in the best way. We at Monteriva want to convey our knowledge so that you can achieve the perfect coffee.

CAFES AND RESTAURANTS

Our basic training is organized every week in Stockholm. Normal course time is weekdays from 9 am to 12 pm or 1 pm to 4 pm. The course is aimed at both beginners and those who have worked for awhile. We prefer that you have tried brewing and skimming milk in the workplace before the course. In the course we go through:

  • The origin of coffee
  • Handling of the raw material
  • The functions of the machines
  • Brewing technique
  • Milk frothing technique
  • Machine cleaning and maintenance

COMPANIES

Our leases include training. For fully automatic machines, basic training normally takes place during installation and when needed.

INDIVIDUALS

Between 11pm and 2 pm on selected Saturdays, a 3-hour home barista course is offered. The barista course does not require any prior knowledge. It is suitable for those of you who are considering buying an espresso machine and those of you who already have an espresso machine and want more knowledge. Anyone who wants to learn more about coffee is more than welcome.
