Double espresso

Caffè Doppio is coffee that is brewed on an espresso machine. It is double the amount of coffee in both the amount of raw material and the finished drink compared to a single espresso. The brewing time is about 25 seconds just like for a single espresso.

All professional espresso machines come with handles or filter holders intended for one or two espressos, respectively. With the filter holder for two espressos, you use a filter that can be filled with 14 - 20 grams of coffee. The brewing time should be about 25 seconds and give about 50 ml of coffee.
