Description
MXD Xtreme Black is an on-demand coffee grinder from Macap with a digital timer for perfect dosing of freshly ground coffee every time. MXD Xtreme Black has two single / double grinding time programs that are adjusted with high accuracy using the steplessly adjustable grinding degree. You can easily reprogram the times. MXD Xtreme Black is the latest model in the series of on-demand coffee grinders from Macap. It is equipped with titanium-coated grinding burrs that provide short grinding times and longer durability of the grinding burrs.
MXD Xtreme Black has a large bean hopper that holds 1400 g of espresso beans, which means you can grind coffee for about 120 espressos per filled coffee grinder. The coffee grinder's stylish and classic design makes the MXD Xtreme Black look very good together with a professional espresso machine as the designs match and complement each other.
The entry of espresso beans on the MXD Xtreme Black is adjusted with a flat tray that you can easily pull from or towards the grinder. If you want to remove the bean hopper from the MXD Xtreme Black but there are still espresso beans left inside, you can push in the flat tray so that it covers the entire opening and then twist the bean hopper upwards. You can do this if you want to clean the grinder or assume that there is a problem in the grinder. To clean the MXD Xtreme Black, the bean hopper must be removed and a dose of Pulygrind poured into the grinder. Then place the hopper back in place.
Grind the Pulygrind crystals together with coffee until no crystals come out of the grinder, a couple of portions are usually required.
The degree of grinding can be adjusted steplessly with the help of a knob. If you want adjustment, turn the knob a little at a time. If the MXD Xtreme Black coffee grinder is set appropriately, usually only a small change is needed. To check when the coffee grinder is set correctly, you can grind coffee into an espresso and then brew it. Try until the espresso is brewed at the right pace at the right time.
The difference between Macap MXD and Macap MXD Xtreme is the grinding burrs. MXD has grinding burrs in steel while MXD Xtreme has titanium-coated grinding burrs. This difference affects the grinding time. MXD grinds a double dose in 6 seconds while MXD Xtreme grinds it in 4 seconds.
There is also longer durability on the grinding burrs in titanium.
What mainly distinguishes Macap's coffee grinders is the production capacity. M4D is suitable for a small restaurant or a small café. MXD is just right for a normal café. M7D is the mill that meets all the requirements that a café with a lot of guests requires.
