Description
Our inspiration for Conquesta derives from Rome, in the area around Trastevere where the Romans themselves eat and drink. The coffee is a mixture of flavors from all of the old empire.
Powerful and full-bodied but with a soft tone of dark chocolate that rounds it off nicely. The coffee is perfect after the meal, both for an espresso or a caffè latte.
Conquesta is a blend that suits most people. Despite the growing Swedish trend to drink one hundred percent Arabica blend, we think that you almost have to throw in a few percent of Robusta to balance out the taste. The more acidic Arabica easily takes over and can be perceived as somewhat sour if it becomes too much. That's why we saturated it with 10% Robusta, which forms the blend and makes it more composed.
If you want a rounder and more accessible blend, we recommend Conquesta.
